Overview
Darbet El Qadar (The Blow of Fate) is a classic Egyptian romantic drama starring legendary trio Laila Murad, Youssef Wehbe, and Yahya Shaheen. After Laila falls for Hamdi (Yahya Shaheen), he abandons her and flees abroad, leaving her alone and heartbroken. Seeking refuge, she enters the elegant household of wealthy Anis (Youssef Wehbe), whose wife is enslaved by a gambling addiction. Laila becomes a devoted caretaker to Anis's young daughter, earning his affection and eventually his hand in marriage. But fate strikes a cruel blow when Anis's brother returns from abroad — and turns out to be none other than Hamdi, the man who first broke her heart.
