An Egyptian actress, born in Alexandria in 1960. She loved art at an early age because her father ran a theater troupe in Alexandria and was friends with a large number of directors and actors. As a child, she worked in her father’s troupe until the troupe dissolved and her father bought a hotel. Samira graduated from the Faculty of Arts at Alexandria University, and after that she moved away from the limelight. With Abdel Moneim Madbouly establishing the “Madpolism” group, she returned to work again and participated in the play (A Man of No Man), and followed it with the plays (O owner of my heart with goodness) and (Banat Al-Ajami), and she appeared in the television dramas (The Last Dawn) and (The Cute Thief), and her cinematic debut was through starring in the movie (The Fences of the Tanneries) with Mahmoud Yassin and Hussein. Fahmy and Safiya Al-Omari and directed by Sherif Hamouda. After that, she participated in starring in approximately 36 films, the most prominent of which were (Al-Tut and Al-Nabut, Al-Qardati, Al-Hajr Al-Dayer, Customary Marriage, Rajab Al-Wahsh, Love Above the Clouds, and A Hero from Upper Egypt).
