Stop is an Egyptian social drama and action film following Fattouh, a university dropout who falls into the underworld of currency exchange and heroin trading. His world is shaken when he discovers that his girlfriend Susu has become a drug addict. Matters escalate when a Zionist smuggling organization recruits him to steal the work of Dr. Nomani, an Egyptian scientist who has developed a serum to cleanse the blood of addiction. Torn between complicity and conscience, Fattouh ultimately resolves to avenge his addicted girlfriend by turning against the organization and helping the police track down its members. The film addresses themes of addiction, crime, and moral redemption within a fast-paced thriller framework.
