Ibtisama fi Nahr al-Domoua is an Egyptian emotional drama centered on Kamel and his wife Siham, whose otherwise happy marriage is shadowed by her inability to conceive. When Kamel takes a second wife, Zizi, hoping for children, Siham's heartbreak is profound — yet Kamel refuses to abandon her. She finds solace in volunteering at shelters while awaiting the uncertain future. Zizi becomes pregnant and gives birth, but dies in the process, leaving Kamel to return home with his newborn — placing the child in the arms of the woman who could never have one herself. A drama of sacrifice, love, and unexpected grace.
