Walls of Tanneries is an Arabic social drama series set in a neighborhood dominated by the leather trade. The powerful merchant Khalil holds a monopoly over the local tanneries and rules with an iron fist, while his two sons take opposing sides: Fadel stands with his father, and Hussein champions the cause of the workers. Into this simmering class conflict steps Mohsen, who pours his energy — and sacrifices his education — into reviving his late father's tannery. But mounting debts and Khalil's stranglehold on the trade place Mohsen's dream under constant threat, drawing a vivid portrait of struggle and exploitation.
