Overview

Street 9 is an Egyptian mystery-thriller series set in the upscale Cairo neighborhood of Maadi. When the daughter of a prominent businessman living on 9th Street vanishes, her husband rushes back from abroad to find her — only to discover she has been killed under deeply suspicious circumstances. Accused of her murder, the protagonist Nair refuses to flee. Instead, he stays on the same street to surveil the person he believes is truly responsible, with only a disabled eyewitness holding the key to the truth. The series builds steady suspense through an atmosphere of paranoia and quiet danger unfolding in a familiar suburban setting.
