Ismail Hassan

He is an Egyptian director and screenwriter, born on June 18, 1930. He obtained an industrial diploma from the Air Force Institute in 1949, but began his artistic career in 1948. At the beginning of his artistic career, he worked as an assistant director with many directors in many films. Among the films in which he worked as an assistant director were “The Office of Love” in 1950, “It’s Permissible for You” in 1952, “It’s Forbidden for You” in 1954, and “The Playboy” in 1953. Ismail Hassan worked with many directors, including Anwar Wagdy, Salah Abu Seif, Fatin Abdel Wahab, and Abbas Kamel. Ismail Hassan worked on Egyptian television from 1967 until 1982. He directed many films, including “The Last Stab” in 1991, “Saf of Soldiers” in 1990, and “The Tea Seller” in the same year.
