Salwa Mahmoud

An Egyptian actress, she was born in Cairo in 1930. Her father was a doctor and wanted her to join medical school, but she obtained a diploma in commerce and then studied acting at the Acting Institute.
The beginning of her artistic career was by joining the Al-Rihani troupe, then she moved to work in the Ismail Yassin troupe, while her first roles were in 1956 by participating in the films (The Call of the Oppressed, Our Green Land, and Devils of the Air). After that, her works continued between cinema and television until the late 1990s, and among her most prominent works are (Al-Batiniyah, Have Mercy on My Love, and The True Promise).
