Overview

Dog Bite is an Egyptian comedy film centered on Awni, a graduate of the Music Institute who finds himself stuck in an unsuitable day job, much to his father's disappointment. When his father's employer asks Awni to give music lessons to his daughter Nahad, Awni seizes the opportunity and forms a band with his friend Samir, his fiancée Nana, and his student Nahad, performing at nightclubs. When the group tries to secure an extended leave to work in Alexandria, Samir comes up with an outrageous scheme: getting bitten by a dog to obtain sick leave. A lighthearted musical comedy that captures the struggles of talented Egyptian youth trying to pursue their passion in the entertainment world.
