Overview
My Dear Daughter is an Egyptian romantic comedy starring Rushdie Abaza and Najat El Saghira. Sharif, charmed by a beautiful voice he hears by chance, decides to unofficially adopt Najwa without his aristocratic family's knowledge. A friendship between Najwa and Sharif's niece sets off a chain of revelations, as each discovers the true identity of the other — only after love has already taken root. A warm and witty film that plays on mistaken identities and the comedy of concealed emotions.
