Overview
Fares Bani Hemdan is an Arabic historical drama series inspired by the life of Abu Firas al-Hamdani, the celebrated warrior-poet of the Hamdani dynasty and cousin of the great Prince Seif al-Dawla. Revered both for his poetry and his prowess on the battlefield, Abu Firas commands deep affection at the prince's court — but his heart is captivated by Naglaa al-Khalidiya, a beautiful young woman in the palace. His rival for her affections is the army commander, and their competition for Naglaa's love ignites a dangerous tension within the walls of a court too small for two proud men.
