The Teenagers, is a 1964 Egyptian movie, directed by Seif El Din Shawkat, and starring Soad Hosny, Emad Hamdy, Yehia Chahine. with a runtime of 108 minutes.
The Teenagers is an Egyptian comedy that playfully skewers the phenomenon of late-in-life adolescence. Shams, a fifty-year-old man behaving like a lovesick teenager, falls for Madiha, the secretary of his best friend Badr. Madiha, enchanted by the prospect of a wealthy husband, breaks off her existing engagement to pursue Shams. Not content to stand by, Shams's daughter Nahid, his friend Badr, and his aunt Bahija Hanem hatch a comic scheme to derail the romance — staging a fake love story between Nahid and Badr. A delightfully farcical family comedy about love, jealousy, pride, and the elaborate lengths people go to in the name of protecting their own.
