Overview
A Schoolgirl's Romance is an Egyptian comedy-drama built around a delightful and tense irony: a girl so notorious for lying that nobody around her believes a word she says. When she finally witnesses a real murder, she faces the most challenging task of her life — convincing everyone she is telling the truth. What follows is a spirited race against disbelief as she scrambles to be taken seriously for the very first time, in a film that blends comic timing with genuine suspense.
