An Egyptian actor, born in 1940. He joined the Faculty of Engineering in 1956, and during his studies he joined the acting team at the university. He began acting on stage in the sixties with the artist Fouad Al-Muhandis through the play (I, He, and She), but he became very famous in 1969 through his performance of the character of Salit in the play (My Fair Lady), adapted from the play (Pygmalion) by George Bernard Shaw. He continued his theatrical work in the plays (A Year With The Delicious Work, The Story of the Western Neighborhood, Ali Bamba’s Sons, Who Doesn’t Love a Zoba, and Al-Wad Sayyid Al-Shaghal? He also played dozens of supporting characters in cinema and television, among his most famous films: (Tawhida, Darb Al-Hawa, The Case of Am Ahmed, The Dancer and the Politician), and from his series (Tears in Shameless Eyes, Raafat Al-Hagan, Al-Zaini Barakat, Hwanem Garden City, The Family of Hajj Metwally).
