Bari' Fi Warta (Innocent in Trouble) is an Arabic crime thriller series that opens with the murder of Hala Al-Nimis, plunging journalist Sami Tawfiq into an impossible predicament. He wakes to discover he spent the night in the victim's apartment — in her bed, in her flat — with no memory of what transpired, save the knowledge that he recently separated from his wife. As evidence mounts against him, Sami is forced to investigate the crime himself, hunting for the first clues that will lead him to the real killer and untangle the web of circumstance that has left him the prime suspect in a murder he did not commit.
