Tawheeda is an Egyptian romantic drama exploring the painful cost of poverty and separation on a love story. Tawheeda and Hussein are deeply in love, but when Hussein travels abroad in search of a better livelihood, the distance unravels everything. Left behind and pregnant, Tawheeda is forced into a marriage of convenience with a wealthy man to protect herself from social scandal. The arrangement brings stability but cannot silence the heart. When Hussein eventually returns, Tawheeda must confront an impossible tension between the life she built out of necessity and the love she never stopped carrying. The film is a moving portrait of sacrifice, circumstance, and the fragile bonds that poverty can break and reunions cannot always repair.
