The establishment draws a cast of contrasting men: the scheming opportunist Murad and the idealistic university professor Abdel Aziz, who falls genuinely in love with a woman named Awham and resolves to marry her. Meanwhile, Murad manipulates the vulnerable Samiha's feelings to lure her into helping him steal Hasniya's jewelry with Saleh's assistance.
