Overview

Raised in His Wealth is an Egyptian social comedy series centered on Hamada Ezzo, a reckless and irresponsible man whose adult personality was shaped entirely by his mother's excessive indulgence. Despite multiple marriages and accumulating obligations, Hamada remains unable to hold himself accountable — clashing repeatedly with the demands of real life the older and more burdened he becomes. His cousin Nawal, patient and determined, tries against considerable odds to turn him into the organized, responsible adult he should have been. A sharply observed comedy about the long-term consequences of over-parenting, told with warmth and plenty of comic frustration.
