Salama Is Fine is an Egyptian comedy built on a case of mistaken identity. Salama, a humble courier tasked with depositing a sum of cash, misses the bank's closing time and checks into a hotel for the night, stashing the money in the safe. By a twist of fate, he is mistaken for the Prince of Kandahar. Rather than clear up the confusion, the real Prince sees an opportunity to smoke out his enemies and insists on keeping the mix-up going, thrusting the bewildered Salama into a world of intrigue and absurd comedy he never asked for.
