An Egyptian actor, named (Mohamed Fouad Shafiq), born in Birkat El-Fil in Cairo in 1899. He did not complete his secondary studies after his father’s death. He worked as an employee in Sudan, got married there, and returned to Egypt in 1924, where he met Youssef Wehbe and then worked in George Abyad’s troupe. Then he returned to the Ramses troupe in 1935 and remained with it throughout his life and also worked in the National Theater. Youssef Wehbe introduced him to cinema through the film (Ode of Hope). He also worked in many plays in the Fatima Rushdie troupe, and his performances varied between comedies and tragedies. Among his most important plays are (The Safety Railway, One Thousand and One Nights). He died in 1964.
