Abo Hadeed is an Egyptian drama series set in a coastal fishing community where crime and complicity run deep. Al-Hanash monopolizes the local fishing trade while using his vessels to smuggle drugs, aided by his partner Jaber — who murders Abu Hadeed when he gets too close to uncovering the truth. Al-Hanash then attempts to leverage his silence over Jaber by demanding the hand of his daughter Amina, but she refuses and elopes with Hassan, the son of the man Jaber killed. The series builds to a tense reckoning as Jaber ultimately turns on Al-Hanash and goes to the police, setting off a chain of irreversible consequences.
