Overview

His Excellency Kish Kish Bey is a classic Arabic comedy film centred on Keshkesh Bey, the mayor of Kafr El-Ballas and a passionate breeder of purebred Arabian horses. When an invitation to a prestigious horse competition arrives, he is overjoyed and throws himself into preparing his horses for the challenge. His equally horse-obsessed neighbour, however, discovers the news and — driven by rivalry and jealousy — plots to prevent Keshkesh Bey from competing. A warm and lively comedy of competition, pride, and village rivalry.
