Raqya Ibrahim

Her real name is Rachel. She was born into a Jewish family in Mansoura. She received her education in French schools and then in the Faculty of Arts. She was a chant group teacher in elementary school. Her wish was to become a famous singer. She appeared for the first time on the national radio station owned by the writer Farid Rifai, and then joined the National Band. Discovered by Bahija Hafez, she starred in many of Mohamed Karim's films. She married sound engineer Mustafa Wali. She decided to immigrate to the United States of America after the revolution and after finishing the movie “Madness of Love” and became a businesswoman there. She was fluent in French, English and Italian. She is considered one of the most beautiful faces in cinema, in addition to her talent and sweet voice, and she finally attacked and cursed Egypt after her emigration.
