Overview

Red Lips is an Egyptian drama film that sheds light on the life of Ibrahim Effendi, a simple employee in a beverage factory, who lived in complete tranquility with his wife and son. Ibrahim's circumstances change when he meets the girl Qamar and brings her to work as a maid in his house. Qamar soon sows the seeds of discord between Ibrahim and his wife, and the wife chooses to leave the house. Ibrahim's life turns upside down as he reaps the consequences of a seemingly innocent decision. Directed by Wali El-Din Sameh, the film raises questions about heedlessness, greed, and the price of naivety.
