Egyptian actress and dancer.
She was born in Alexandria in 1932.
She became a professional at dancing at a young age due to her upbringing with the artist Nabawiyah Salim, who was managing one of the performance groups.
She began acting in the early 1950s through the movie (Circus Girl) after director Hussein Fawzi chose her. She participated in more than 40 films with dancing and acting, including: (Ismail Yassin meets Raya and Sakina, Between Kasserine, Midaq Alley, Gossip over the Nile, Hammam Al-Malatili, and The Woman Who Conquered Satan).
She retired from art in the mid-seventies in order to devote herself to her family life.
She died in 1989 at the age of 57.
