An Iraqi actor, composer, and singer, born in the city of Mosul in 1932. He began working in the field of painting, then worked as a singer in one of the nightclubs in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, which made many artists pay attention to his talent. Then he collaborated with a number of Egyptian artists and composed melodies for their songs, including Faida Kamel and Karem Mahmoud. Then he moved to acting in cinema at the beginning of the sixties, and his films include: (Al-Nasser Salah al-Din, Amir al-Daha, Fares Bani Hamdan, Love in the Year 70, Al-Shaima), and he also starred in the series (Hisab Al-Sunnah, Al-Fursan, Al-Heroes, The Fall in Beersheba). He died in 2000 at the age of 68.
