Baba Ayez Keda, is a 1968 Egyptian movie, directed by Niazi Mostafa, and starring Soad Hosny, Rushdy Abaza. Mohamed Awad.
Baba Ayez Keda is an Egyptian romantic comedy about Kamal, a timid young man who falls for his university classmate Nadia and promises to wait for her when she travels abroad with her family for several years. In her absence, Kamal reinvents himself as Koko, a celebrated fashion designer with a reputation for multiple romantic liaisons. When Nadia returns to Egypt and discovers how dramatically he has changed — and how thoroughly he deceived her — she devises her own scheme of revenge, claiming to be romantically involved with his cousin. The film is a playful battle of wits and pride that questions whether people can truly change and whether love can survive transformation.
