Bint Badia is a poignant Egyptian drama following Badia, a poor young woman who falls in love with a wealthy man, bears his daughter, and is then cast aside when his family refuses to acknowledge her or the child. Left to navigate the streets alone, she faces assault and loses her daughter to kidnappers. As Badia struggles to rebuild her life with dignity, every honest door closes before her, leaving cabarets as her only refuge. The film is a moving portrait of a woman failed by love, family, and society at every turn — and her determination to survive regardless.
