Momtaz Abaza

Egyptian actor. He was born in the city of Zagazig to a father who worked in a bank. He obtained a bachelor's degree in civil aviation, worked as a pilot officer, and rose through the ranks until he became director of air navigation in tourism. He belongs to the Abaza family, which presented a number of artists and writers, and he is the cousin of the artist Rushdi Abaza. He wrote poetry and mastered many languages. He married the artist Suzy Khairy and had a son with her.
