He began his artistic activity as an actor in cinema, performing secondary roles at the end of the 1940s. He also worked in theater and television, and he can be seen in the role of Sheikh Ayyad, Zainab’s father (Nadia El Gendy), in the movie “A Storm of Love” in 1961. He also wrote the scripts for many films, including “The Body” 1955, “The Unknown Woman” 1959, “The Paper Thieves” 1971, and “A Man Loves Twice” 1987.
