Overview
Daddy as a Bridegroom is an Egyptian comedy of family chaos and romantic deception. Rafaat Bey El-Khazandar, a wealthy man, abandons his family to pursue a new marriage with a woman named Qashta — who herself is in love with another man, Batata, who helped launch her career. His daughters Fadia and Nadia refuse to accept their father's desertion and travel to Cairo to bring him back, only to cross paths with a crafty young man who fabricates a wealthy pedigree to con one of them into a romantic entanglement, adding another layer of comedic complication to an already tangled family drama.
