An Egyptian actress who gained wide fame in the 1940s, and her name was linked to several political and intelligence incidents and mysteries Her mother baptized her as a Christian, and she grew up in the popular Azarita neighborhood in Alexandria. She and her mother grew up poor on the revenues of the pension her mother owned. Her beauty was clearly evident in her teenage years, and the director (Ahmed Salem) discovered her when she was seventeen years old.
