Hassan Tawfik

Egyptian director and actor, born in 1912. At the beginning of his artistic career, he worked as an assistant director with Hussein Fawzi. He wrote many film songs. He directed a number of documentary films since 1953, including a group produced by the Islamic Conference. He worked in television since the beginning of its broadcast, when he directed many films, the first of which was Lebanese in University in 1947, the film My Country and Lightness in 1950, the film Birds of Paradise in 1955, Ismail Yassin in the Fleet in 1957, the film A Man Without a Heart in 1960, the film And Tomorrow is Another Day in 1962, and other cinema.
