I Love You Hassan is an Egyptian romantic drama about Hassan, a wealthy young man whose father enrolls him in university to study engineering — but Hassan secretly follows his passion, slipping away to Mohamed Ali Street to learn music and performance. There he meets Sokara, a dancer living under the shadow of her stepfather's control and exploitation. A love story blossoms between them, but their happiness comes at a steep price as Hassan's family fiercely opposes the relationship and insists he marry his cousin instead.
