Almoshaghib Sitta is an Egyptian comedy film that follows Sitta, a hapless young man from a humble background who cycles through a series of failed jobs — from street magician to scrap dealer — never quite finding his footing. After being dismissed from his position with Mamdouh, a wealthy smuggler, Sitta buys a piece of second-hand furniture that turns out to conceal three million dollars that Mamdouh had secretly stashed away. Suddenly holding a fortune he never sought, Sitta faces a life-defining choice — and opts to channel the money toward charitable work and marry the woman he loves.
