Overview
Mekhemar Is Always Ready is an Egyptian comedy film following Mukhaymar, an unlucky young man who fails at every trade he tries, from law to electrical work. Deciding to seek his fortune in Cairo, he boards a train — only to become the unwitting pawn of two professional thieves who hide their stolen money in his bag and then lead him to a nearby hotel to reclaim it. When the money mysteriously vanishes, Mukhaymar finds himself at the center of a farcical misadventure that keeps spiraling in unexpected directions.
