Al Sabr fi Al-Malahat is an Arabic social drama series centered on Kawthar, a drug dealer who frames her innocent maid for her crimes, condemning her to a life sentence. In an act of apparent redemption — or perhaps guilt — Kawthar takes in the maid's daughter and cares for her children. Years later, the daughter grows up to become a police officer with a firm belief in rehabilitation, choosing to give a thief a second chance at becoming a law-abiding citizen. The series probes questions of sin, justice, redemption, and the long shadows that moral choices cast across generations.
