An actor from the ancient Egyptian cinema who lived through the stages of its development through the decades of the thirties, forties, and fifties, all the way to the sixties. He was born in 1895 in Cairo. Al-Messiri worked in the George Abyad Theater and worked with the Fatima Rushdie troupe. As for cinema, his work has been limited to performing secondary roles since his first participation, which was in the silent film “Zeinab”, directed by Muhammad Karim in 1930, based on the story of the writer Muhammad Hussein Heikal.
