Soliman Naguib

An Egyptian actor, born in 1892 to an ancient family. He studied at the Faculty of Law and graduated from it.
He had loved acting since he was a student in the preparatory school in the Darb al-Jamamiz area in Sayyida Zeinab, and he turned to it despite the difficulty of the decision for him, especially since he came from a wealthy family, which was considered reprehensible at the time.
Suleiman Naguib held senior positions in the Ministries of Endowments and Justice, where he worked in the secretariat in each of them. He also represented Egypt as a consul in the Egyptian embassy in the Turkish city of Istanbul. In addition to the theater, where he presented more than 40 plays.
Suleiman Naguib worked in cinema from the early thirties until the mid-fifties as an actor and screenwriter. His films include: (Dinars, Women’s Game, Ghazal El Banat, Miss Mama, and Miss Hanafi).
He died in 1955 at the age of 62.
