
An Egyptian comedian, actor, and actor, he was born in the Menoufia Governorate of the Arab Republic of Egypt on November 18, 1928, as Ahmed Mahmoud Muhammad Al-Haddad. He is the eldest brother of four boys and three girls. He graduated from the School of Decorative Arts, worked as a painter in the Al-Falah Department, and secretary of the Uniform Standardization Committee at the Ministry of Social Affairs, where he met his colleague Magda Hamed and married her. In 1948, radio broadcaster Fahmy Omar saw him imitating artists and the character of Al-Saidi on one of the Nile cruises, so he included him in the program An Hour for Your Heart, which was presented on the Egyptian radio, and he participated in writing its episodes. Then he excelled in presenting the character of Al-Saidi and Al-Sitt Al-Raghaya, and it became a permanent segment in the program. He presented the Al-Masaharati program on the radio, which was written by Hussein Al-Sayyid. He practiced boxing at Al-Ahly Club and won a featherweight championship. In 1954, the artist Shadia included him in a film she produced, “A Night of My Life,” and when it proved successful, she included him in her next film, “The Beach of Memories,” in 1955, and he began playing supporting roles in many films. Radio Jalal Moawad included him in his famous program, City Lights, where he presented humorous sketches between the concert segments that were touring the governorates> Ahmed Al-Haddad died on June 17, 1992, due to kidney failure.
