The Student and the Teacher is an Arabic drama set inside a reform institution where music teacher Waheed works with his students. Among them is Salwa, a young woman who landed in the institution after committing a crime in self-defense against a predatory employer. Determined to escape her confinement, Salwa secretly transforms her appearance and joins the nightclub band led by Waheed — who fails to recognize her in her new look. As Salwa develops feelings for her teacher and her double life grows more precarious, the series weaves together themes of identity, hidden desire, and survival.
