Overview
His Majesty is an Egyptian comedy film that turns a diplomatic visit into a high-stakes farce. When Sultan Maringos the First of Borinja arrives in Egypt, intelligence uncovers a plot by loyalists of the dethroned Sultan Abrim the Fifth to assassinate him. The solution: Hassan, a humble hotel porter who happens to be a dead ringer for the sultan, is recruited by General Askrani and Egyptian police to impersonate the royal guest. What follows is a comic adventure where an ordinary man navigates palace intrigue, mortal danger, and mistaken identities with hilarious results.
