Egyptian editor, born in Cairo. He graduated from the Higher Institute of Cinema, Department of Editing, in 1964 and was appointed as a teacher there since 1972. He obtained a master's degree in 1995 for his thesis, Burfkin between Theory and Practice. Since 1971, Adel Mounir has edited 89 feature films, the most famous of which are (Birds of Darkness, Playing with Adults, Kit Kat) and others. He died on July 28, 2003.
