Shahira is an Egyptian historical drama centred on a bold theatre troupe owner who stages politically charged plays at a time when such daring carries real risk. His talent captivates her and a genuine love blossoms between them. Feeling displaced and threatened, Fahmy Pasha retaliates by fabricating a political charge against his rival.
