Overview
Were It a Dream is an Egyptian comedy drama following six young people — three men and three women from wealthy, middle-class, and rural backgrounds — whose romantic entanglements and shared ambitions collide when they pool resources to open a fast-food restaurant funded by a bank loan. Their venture is derailed when the police arrest the group without clear justification, and they are released only after their families intervene. Complications mount when a dancer enters the picture and sets her sights on one of the men, stirring jealousy and further complicating the group's personal dynamics. Through the chaos, each character fights to keep their dream alive and find their way to happiness.
