Overview

Sirri Lil-Ghaya is an Egyptian thriller built around Shakir, a humble employee who is fired by Salem, a ruthless and corrupt businessman who fears the incriminating documents Shakir holds. As Salem's henchmen close in during a frantic chase, Shakir secretly stashes the documents inside the clinic of Dr. Aida — without her knowledge — before being captured and murdered, his body stripped of identifying details and abandoned roadside. When Salem learns that the clinic might harbor the evidence, he orders Dr. Aida eliminated as well. The film is a taut cat-and-mouse story about ordinary people caught in the crossfire of powerful corruption, where truth becomes the most dangerous thing to possess.
