Overview

Lack of Evidence is a powerful Egyptian social drama featuring Salah Al-Saadani, Najla Fathi, and Yusra. Ibrahim abandons his wife Fawzia and relocates to Cairo, where he secretly marries Hassania, played by Aida Riad. When Fawzia attempts to claim her rights, she faces complete denial — Ibrahim refuses to acknowledge her, and she is stripped of her identity and even her child through forged documents. The psychological toll breaks Fawzia, leading to her admission to a psychiatric hospital. There she finds an unexpected ally in fellow patient Farida, played by Yusra, who works tirelessly to help her fight back. A searing drama about institutional injustice and the resilience of women.
