An Egyptian actress who started her artistic career first on radio, then worked in small roles in cinema, theater and television.
Among her small roles in cinema is her role in the movie (Ghanian Life) with Berlanti Abdel Hamid, and in the movie (I Will Never Cry) with Faten Hamama.
She was given a role closer to the lead in the movie (Call of Love), and despite that, she did not benefit from the experience.
She played the role of the popular, kind-hearted mother in several films. She also played the role of the martyr's wife in the movie (Giants of the Seas).
Within the framework of television drama, I presented several works, including (My Dear Sons, Thank You), (Layali Al-Helmeya), (Raafat Al-Hagan) and (Wanes Diaries).
Her name rose to prominence at the end of 2003 with the death of the singer Zikra due to the friendship she had with the late artist, as Kawthar revealed many secrets about the killing of the Tunisian singer and her private life.
