Abdel Wahab Mohamed

Egyptian composer, poet, and musician, born on November 7, 1930. Abdel Wahab studied music and playing the oud at the Arab Music Institute. His artistic career: When Abdel Wahab Mohamed started writing songs, his first song was by singer Fayza Ahmed, entitled “Don’t Love Me Like This.” Abdel Wahab Mohamed collaborated with many male and female singers, led by Mrs. Umm Kulthum and the musician Mohamed Abdel Wahab, who met in their first collaboration in the song “Fakrouni.” This song was written by the poet Abdel Wahab Mohamed. Among the most famous singers with whom Abdel Wahab Mohamed collaborated are: Abdel Halim Hafez, Warda, Shadia, Muharram Fouad, Afaf Rady, Samira Saeed, Nadia Mostafa, Mohamed Rushdi, Latifa and many others. The distinguished poet Abdel Wahab Muhammad received the Medal of Artistic Creativity from the French “Al-Sassim” Society. He died on January 16, 1996 AD
