Rape, is a 1989 Egyptian movie, directed by Ali Abdel-Khalek, and starring Farouq Al Fishawy, Ahmad Bedir, Nagah El-Mogui. with a runtime of 86 minutes.
Rape is a bold Egyptian thriller that confronts the crime of abduction and sexual violence head-on. Nurse Afaf is kidnapped by three young men — Mamdouh, Fahmi, and Shukri — while travelling to a friend's party in a remote area. She manages to escape and take refuge with local inhabitants, but her pursuers are cunning: they persuade her protectors that her account is false, discrediting her and forcing her to keep running. The film does not flinch from the horror of its subject matter, building sustained tension while placing its moral weight firmly behind its protagonist and against the social mechanisms that enable perpetrators to escape accountability.
